Job description:

All Asian Bioethanol Corp. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant. The role requires a strong background in logistics, particularly in managing barge operations, inventory, and coordinating with clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of the company's logistics, which includes handling documentation and working with third-party providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Barge Operations: Assist in the planning and execution of barge movements, including scheduling and tracking, and ensuring all operations comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Inventory and Documentation: Maintain accurate inventory records and manage all logistics-related documentation, including shipping manifests, permits, and delivery receipts.
• Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, workers, and third-party logistics providers. You will be responsible for effective communication and coordination to meet operational goals.
• 3rd Party Logistics (3PL): Handle the booking and management of 3PL services, with a specific focus on arranging transport for tank cargo such as molasses.
• Permit Processing: Process and secure all necessary permits and licenses related to the transportation and logistics of molasses and other materials.

Qualifications:

All qualifications listed below are REQUIRED and MUST BE STRICTLY MET to be considered for this position.

• Must be a college graduate, preferably with a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Assistant or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience with barge logistics and operations (required).
• Expertise in inventory management and meticulous documentation.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to manage relationships with clients and workers.
• Specific experience in booking and managing 3rd Party Logistics, especially for tank cargo.
• Familiarity with processing permits and regulatory requirements for the logistics of materials.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good Analytical Skills
• Able and willing to travel often.
