About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and licensed Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, estimating, and coordinating electrical systems for various projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and estimate electrical installation works in accordance with project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) including unit rates for materials and labor.
  • Coordinate with other departments, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure scope, quality, and cost alignment for electrical components.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and calculations for each assigned project.
  • Suggest and implement design modifications or component substitutions as needed.
  • Report project progress, technical details, and design updates to management.
  • Ensure timely delivery of tasks, especially under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer.
  • Open to male or female applicants.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in electrical design.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Tagalog.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in the latest CAD programs for electrical design.
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Willing to work overtime, including outside regular business hours when necessary.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate and well-versed in electrical engineering software.

Preferred Skills & Tools (an advantage but not required):

  • ETAP 20.6
  • DIALux EVO
  • Knowledge in Short Circuit and Voltage Drop Calculations
