Hospital Chief Engineer

Job Summary:

The Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and safety of all engineering and technical operations of the facility. This includes supervising the engineering team, ensuring optimal functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other essential building systems, as well as coordinating preventive maintenance and responding to emergencies to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the engineering and maintenance department.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment, systems, and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and codes.
• Lead the engineering team in resolving technical issues and breakdowns promptly and effectively.
• Develop and manage the engineering budget, including resource planning and cost control.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors for repairs, installations, and major renovations.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Ensure energy efficiency and sustainability practices are implemented.
• Prepare reports and keep documentation of repairs, inspections, permits, and maintenance records.
• Train and evaluate engineering staff; foster a culture of safety and performance excellence.
• Respond to facility emergencies and participate in disaster preparedness planning.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php100, Php150,000.00 per month
