Job Summary:

Best Group Services and Trading Corp is seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Accounting Officer to lead and manage the full-cycle accounting operations of the company. This role covers general accounting, payroll processing, collections, and financial reporting. It is a leadership position with potential to supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Oversee payroll preparation and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR)
• Monitor and manage collections, aging of receivables, and client account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Ensure timely submission of government filings and tax compliance
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and internal reviews
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies
• Implement and improve accounting systems, controls, and procedures
• Lead and train junior accounting staff as the team expands
• Collaborate with management for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong background in full-cycle accounting, payroll, and collections
• Education in Accounting, Finance, or related field (non-CPA and non-accounting graduates are welcome)
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work on-site and travel if needed
• Option for stay-in accommodation is available

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Saturday
• May include extended hours during reporting periods
