Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Java Engineer

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java and SQL to develop robust applications and provide production support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain applications using Java 8 or higher, with a preference for Java 8.

· Utilize SQL and Java Persistence API (JPA) for efficient data management and retrieval.

· Provide production support, ensuring system stability and addressing any issues promptly.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software solutions.

· Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• Practical experience in Core and Enterprise Java (1.8 preferred)

• Experience with various Spring frameworks like Spring Boot

• Experience in RDBMS, SQL, JPA, and Hibernate

• Knowledge of good database design and optimized queries

• Firm understanding of microservices architecture

• Experience using and developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON

• Experience with event-based and message-driven distributed systems

• Basic skills in UNIX scripting
