Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Utility Scale PV Project Manager located in Manila. The Project Manager will oversee day-to-day project management tasks, including expediting, inspection, and logistics management. The role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with project timelines, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Wayu Energy is expanding its portfolio of renewable energy projects across the Philippines. We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead upcoming utility-scale solar PV projects from development through construction and into operations. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of utility-scale PV projects (50 MW+).


• Manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and O&M.


• Ensure compliance with Philippine regulations, grid codes, and HSE standards.


• Oversee project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and reporting to executive management.


• Coordinate with EPC contractors, suppliers, and local authorities.


• Drive project commissioning, testing, and successful handover to operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field.
  • Project Management PMP certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in renewable energy, with proven track record in utility-scale solar PV projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management, grid integration, and permitting in the Philippines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
