Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Scriptwriting Instructor who can teach students the fundamentals and advanced techniques of writing for film, television, and digital media. The ideal candidate has strong industry experience and can bring real-world insight into the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach scriptwriting concepts, formats, and techniques across various media
  • Guide students in developing scripts for film, TV, and digital platforms
  • Provide constructive feedback on story development and script drafts
  • Design engaging lessons and workshop-based activities
  • Mentor students on industry standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with the academic team for curriculum planning

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in any of the following:
  • Communication / Mass Communication
  • Creative Writing / Literature
  • Film / Cinema / Media Production
  • Theater Arts
  • Master's degree (MA/MFA) in related fields preferred

Industry Experience (Required):

Proven work experience in any of the following:

  • Film scriptwriting
  • TV scriptwriting
  • Digital media writing (series, branded content, web shows)
  • Documentary scripting
  • Story development / story editing

Teaching Experience:

  • Prior teaching or training experience (formal or workshop-based) preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php Php350.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 15 per week
