- Form collaborative solutions by identifying shared objectives and reducing potential conflict.
- Represent OceanaGold with integrity and purpose in regulatory and public forums.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Environmental Science, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- At least 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement and dialogue, preferably within the resource or mining sector.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the Philippines.
- Strong grasp of social science concepts, including social performance management systems, social impact assessments, social risk management, and sustainability frameworks.
- Familiarity with responsible gold mining principles and practices.
- Sound awareness of the Philippine socio-political landscape and its relevance to mining operations.
- Stakeholder engagement and effective dialogue facilitation.
- Strategic planning and compliance management.
- Policy and procedures development.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Data collection, analysis, and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to anticipate and manage social and regulatory risks.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a high degree of empathy, intuition, and patience.
