ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Regulatory Reports Officer to join our dynamic team at the Industrial Bank of Korea Manila Branch. This full-time position will be based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for the preparation of BSP reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual submissions)
  • Ensures that internal controls are in place to ensure timely and accurate reporting and minimize compliance risk
  • Assists in the completion of requirements for statutory and regulatory audits
  • Helps monitor compliance with various regulatory metrics such as CAR, LCR, NSFR, BLR, among others
  • Assists in report mapping and other efforts related to report automation
  • Responsible for providing calculations and analysis as required on an ad-hoc basis
  • Helps in the testing and implementation of new systems
  • Aids in formulating accounting policies and processes related to new and existing products and regulatory requirements
  • Willing to support and collaborate with other departments if needed.

What we're looking for

  • Regulatory reporting experience of at least 2-3 years
  • Strong background on banking products and regulations as well as the related financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Experienced with FX related reports, COCREE and other XML reports (XML background - preferred but not required)
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, and is receptive to feedback, since the role involves frequent coordination with other units and regulatory bodies
  • Ready to adapt to new technologies to increase productivity
