  1. Oversee all pharmacy store operations, including the preparation, care, distribution, and inspection of pharmaceutical items.
  2. Lead pharmacy associates in setting work priorities and ensuring all medications are checked for accuracy and completeness before dispensing.
  3. Contact physicians when a prescription is unclear to ensure the correct drug is dispensed.
  4. Manage inventory, which includes monitoring proper storage of items, preparing monthly reports, and reviewing inventory levels.
  5. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met, and control, record, and monitor the issuance of drugs to customers according to FDA, PDEA, and DOH standards.
  6. Maintain pharmacy records for prescriptions, as well as for exempt and narcotic substances.
  7. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy and a Pharmacist License are required for this position.
