- Oversee all pharmacy store operations, including the preparation, care, distribution, and inspection of pharmaceutical items.
- Lead pharmacy associates in setting work priorities and ensuring all medications are checked for accuracy and completeness before dispensing.
- Contact physicians when a prescription is unclear to ensure the correct drug is dispensed.
- Manage inventory, which includes monitoring proper storage of items, preparing monthly reports, and reviewing inventory levels.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are met, and control, record, and monitor the issuance of drugs to customers according to FDA, PDEA, and DOH standards.
- Maintain pharmacy records for prescriptions, as well as for exempt and narcotic substances.
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy and a Pharmacist License are required for this position.
