About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commis Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at Zirconia Inc' in Pasay City Metro Manila. As a Commis Hot, you will play a crucial role in supporting our talented kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our valued guests. This is a full-time position where you will work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our bustling kitchen.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist the Chefs in food preparation, including cleaning, cutting, and portioning ingredients
2. Follow recipes and cooking methods to ensure consistent and high-quality dish output
3. Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked work station
4. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
5. Support the kitchen team during peak service times
6. Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve kitchen operations

What we're looking for

1. At least 2 years' experience as a Commis Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or hotel kitchen
2. Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
3. Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team
4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality dishes
5. Passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the industry
