Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyze quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured and test cases, scenarios, and test data
- Execute Test Cases
- Plan, estimate, and prioritize testing activities
- Create comprehensive proof of tests
- Identify, record and document defects accurately and correctly
- Track reported defects, discuss and collaborate with the QA team and Dev team
- Perform UI, sanity, functional, regression, component and end-to-end testing
- Perform API testing
- Contribute to the creation of technical and end user product documentation
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance/ Software Testing
- Experience in Agile software development and other software methodologies
- Able to work effectively with continuous change requirements and short deadlines under minimum supervision
- Experience in testing robust websites and feature-rich web applications
- Experience in JIRA or other issue tracking tool
- Experience in writing clear, concise and detailed test cases
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good English communication skills
- Confident, driven, and productive
Minimum Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, test case creation, test execution, and defect logging
- Good experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience in defect reporting, tracking, and management
- Experience working with database operations
- Experience in API testing is a plus
- Quick understanding of the functionality of the application under test
