Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for motorcycles and a knack for numbers? Our dynamic team is seeking a Motorcycle Accounting Staff member to support our financial operations and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. If you have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a love for motorcycles, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports, and ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements, analyzing variances and trends to provide insights into business performance.
  • Assist with inventory management processes, including tracking inventory levels, conducting physical inventory counts, and reconciling inventory records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Finance Director.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for motorcycles and understanding of motorcycle industry terminology and trends is preferred.
