We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Business Analyst with strong hands-on experience in SQL for data analysis and reporting. (required) and a minimum of 7 years' experience, preferably in the financial sector. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to manage business analyst teams and collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders. This role offers a hybrid setup with a midshift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements.
  • Use strong SQL skills to query, analyze, and validate data supporting business processes and technical solutions.
  • Develop and refine technical solution concepts with internal and external teams.
  • Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for improvements aligned with IT capabilities.
  • Manage prioritization, scope, and delivery of business requests while ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts to support their growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Work with engineering and operations teams to improve business applications through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business, or a related quantitative discipline
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the financial industry
  • Strong hands-on experience in SQL for data analysis and reporting. (required)
  • Proficient in traditional waterfall and agile/lean methodologies, with experience in frameworks such as Kanban, SAFe, or Scrum
  • Solid understanding of the IT application development lifecycle
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills
  • Proven leadership experience managing business analyst teams and driving collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of private markets or private equity sectors
  • Certified Business Analyst credentials
  • Experience in project management and quality assurance
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies
