Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in prioritization of IT Projects as part of the business planning / demand planning cycle for the Units.
  • Work and collaborate with stakeholders and end users to plan and configure systems, to develop solutions that will achieve needed objectives.
  • Align with the Project Manager on the overall business outcomes for the modules and delivery timelines.
  • Manage the kickoff process ensuring all necessary resources are available in conjunction with business sponsor and that a robust project plan is in place.
  • Monitor assigned projects as per company SDLC and Governance process.
  • Project Management: Be involved with different tasks and processes such as Work Breakdown Structure, Risk Management, Issue Management, and Dependency Management to effectively organize, plan, and lead multiple initiatives at once.
  • Financial Management: Be involved with budgeting, cost management, and financial planning
  • Identify and log project issues; Oversee the resolution process and escalates issues when necessary.
  • Manage when necessary; scope the projects and update project plans accordingly.
  • Manage the project closure ensuring all deliverables are achieved and documented; and relevant lessons learned/case studies are developed
  • Assist in selecting and on-going management of vendors/suppliers for supporting selected projects.
  • Facilitate vendor contracting, payments
  • Train new Delivery Managers with Project Delivery processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or any related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a full-time Project Manager, preferably gained from a bank or financial institution
  • Knowledgeable in Informatica MDM - at least 1 year of exposure
  • Experience in handling complex projects on financial applications is highly preferred
  • Experience in PMI/PRINCE2 PM framework and/or Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodology
  • Project Management certification is a plus
  • Must possess excellent management and written/verbal communication skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in Work Breakdown Structure, Risk Management, Issue Management, and Dependency Management
  • Knowledgeable on other platforms and technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Power BI, and others.
  • Must be amenable to work on a day shift schedule (8am-5pm or 9am-6pm)
  • Must be amenable to work in the office in Makati or Ortigas.
