By identifying areas of weakness, staying up to date with the latest security standards, and having a thorough understanding of the Bank's IT systems, the security architect identifies possible security threats to prevent a cyber breach. Job Description:Plans, researches, and designs security architecture for IT systems.

Determines security protocols by evaluating business strategies and requirements. Develops, reviews, and approves installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices. Conducts regular tests and monitoring of network security.

Responds to and investigates security incidents and provides thorough post-event analyses. Reviews system security measures and implements necessary enhancements. Researches, trains, and advocates novel technologies, tools, emerging security practices, and standards to ensure the latest trends and developments in Security management are considered part of SBC's security strategy.

Supports a positive and collaborative digital delivery culture with a philosophy of continuous improvement, development, innovation, and excellence, while remaining in compliance with the bank's policies and procedures and upholding the highest standards of professional conduct. Job Qualifications:8-10 years of experience in security architecture and design in a large, complex enterprise environment. Strong understanding of security architecture and design principles.

Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST, and COBIT.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. In-depth knowledge of security principles, technologies, and standards.

Understanding of the overall banking and financial services industry. Knowledge of the various banking regulations and compliance requirements. Familiarity with cloud security, identity and access management, and network security.
