As an international company, we are looking for a
Specialized Civil Draftsman (Earthworks & Roads & Bridges & Pavements)
based in
Makati City, Manila Philippines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in a civil drafting role, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on large-scale infrastructure, transport, or renewable energy projects.
• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and/or 12D software for road, earthworks, and drainage modelling.
• Competent in structural building codes/legislation in Australia and New Zealand
• High-level competency in AutoCAD and experience with Navisworks or Revit for model integration.
• Strong understanding of civil drafting standards and practices in Australia and New Zealand.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and bills of materials from drawings and models.
• Confident in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with solar farm or BESS project drafting.
• Familiar with project delivery frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2) as applied in design and preconstruction phases.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Drafting & Modelling

Provide expert drafting and modelling services to support the civil engineering team by translating design concepts and calculations into clear and accurate technical documentation.

Key tasks:

• Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D models for internal access roads, heavy-duty haulage routes, and pavement structures using Civil 3D and/or 12D software
• Create comprehensive drawing sets for grading plans, cut-and-fill exhibits, and stormwater drainage layouts.
• Produce detailed drawings for civil elements including culverts, small bridges, retaining walls, fencing, cable trenches, and equipment foundations.
• Generate swept path analysis diagrams for heavy equipment haulage routes
• Ensure all drawings and models integrate topographic, geotechnical, and survey data accurately.
• Prepare construction-ready drawing packages, ensuring compliance with Australian/New Zealand drafting standards and project-specific requirements.
• and manage drawing registers, transmittals, and other documentation.
• Prepare material quantity take-offs and schedules from drawings and models to support procurement and construction teams.
• Work closely with the design engineering team to ensure models and drawings accurately reflect design intent.
• Conduct quality reviews on all drafting deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards.

Continuous Improvement

• Continuously review and optimize drafting workflows, templates, and CAD standards to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Contribute to the development of standardized drafting procedures and modelling techniques to enhance quality across all EPC projects.
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve the clarity and constructability of drawings to reduce rework during construction.
• Identify inefficiencies in the handover of documentation between design, procurement, and construction, and suggest improvements
