Job Summary:

The Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to designated locations across local and provincial routes. The role requires strict adherence to traffic rules, proper vehicle maintenance, and timely delivery of items while ensuring the safety and security of cargo.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate company-assigned trucks for the transport and delivery of goods.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Follow designated routes and schedules for timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
  • Secure cargo to prevent shifting, spills, or loss during transit.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper documentation of the vehicle at all times.
  • Monitor and report mechanical issues, breakdowns, or required repairs.
  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting to address minor issues during trips.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, and fuel consumption reports.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and Philippine traffic regulations.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery instructions.

Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid Professional Driver's License (Restriction 2, 3, or appropriate category).
  • Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role.
  • Must have basic knowledge of truck mechanics to identify and troubleshoot minor vehicle problems.
  • Familiarity with local and provincial roads and routes.
  • Physically fit and able to lift or move heavy items when necessary.
  • Good driving record with no major violations.
  • Ability to work long hours, including early mornings or late evenings, as required.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and safety awareness.
