DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers Products to our clients in different locations, as required.
  • Driver also has to do the entire loading.
  • Picks up goods from our clients from different locations, as required.
  • Driver also has to do the entire up loading of the trucks. Counts and writes down into a log sheet the quantity and serial no. received.
  • Maintains files, records and routines needed to insure the efficient operation of the mobile service, such as delivery and pick-up logs forms.
  • Keep truck clean inside and out
  • Drives truck in a safe manner at all times, always wearing a safety belt.
  • Drives trucks to jobs and successfully completes customer requests in a professional, timely manner.
  • Receives orders in a professional manner from the Transport Coordinator.
  • Report maintenance problems to the operation supervisor.
  • Keep in close contact with the operation supervisor and Transport Coordinator, ensuring that the operation supervisor and Transport Coordinator knows their location at all times.
  • Follow all safety regulations and precautions.
  • Wear all required and necessary Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Coordinate and help with maintenance of trucks and equipment (greasing, small repairs, etc.).
  • Assess location, area for hazard and potential hazard and report it to the Operation Supervisor.
  • Performs other related work as required.
