Job Summary
As an Accounting Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting client projects by helping implement and optimize Sage Intacct financial systems. You'll work closely with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure successful setup, training, and adoption. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen your skills in financial systems, gain hands-on consulting experience, and grow quickly in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities
- Help Project Managers plan and track projects, schedule meetings, organize documents, and maintain communication between team members, clients, and partners.
- Support data migration by helping clients prepare and import financial data into Sage Intacct, assisting with data cleansing and validation under consultant guidance.
- Learn to configure core Sage Intacct modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) based on client business requirements, including setup of chart of accounts, dimensions, vendors, customers, and basic workflows.
- Support creation and modification of financial reports and dashboards within Sage Intacct to meet client reporting needs.
- Assist in preparing for and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with clients and documenting feedback.
- Provide initial troubleshooting for system configuration issues and guide clients on common Sage Intacct functionalities.
- Participate in client discovery sessions to understand their current processes and future needs, translating these into potential Sage Intacct solutions.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and ensure Sage Intacct is configured effectively for them; support client training and record short training videos.
- Continuously learn Sage Intacct and related products, staying updated on features and best practices.
- Provide support to project and consulting teams to help keep operations running smoothly.
Required Skills and Abilities
- At least 1 year in project coordination, admin, or client support, ideally within tech or professional services.
- Experience working with U.S. businesses.
- Background in accounting or finance.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable creating concise training videos.
- Eagerness to learn new software and understand how systems solve business problems.
- Comfortable with project tools, office software, and open to learning video recording tools.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative working style.
- Ability to work full-time with overlap in U.S. time zones.
