Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting and Reporting Consultant with a strong focus on financial reporting to support system implementation and client advisory. This role involves working with ERP platforms, specifically Sage Intacct, to deliver insightful reporting, streamline processes, and enhance data integrity. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of Sage Intacct, including data migration from legacy systems and configuring the software to meet specific client needs.
  • Help ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing validation checks and reconciliations to confirm the data is correctly migrated and processed within the system.
  • Develop and customize financial reports, dashboards, and statements to provide clients with valuable, easy-to-understand insights.
  • Create professional and visually appealing reports and presentations, explaining financial results and insights to clients.
  • Draft clear, concise, and professional client communications, including emails, status updates, and formal documentation.
  • Provide day-to-day support to clients and internal teams, addressing and resolving issues, and escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Assist in training clients on how to use the Sage Intacct system, particularly in navigating modules, creating reports, and understanding data flow.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to client processes and reporting capabilities, ensuring the system is used efficiently.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client requirements, system configurations, and support activities.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in an ERP or financial system role, with hands-on experience in creating financial reports.
  • Prior experience working with U.S.-based businesses.
  • Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct or other ERP/SaaS platforms like NetSuite.
  • Experience using financial reporting tools within an ERP system to build custom reports.
  • Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data validation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction and professional documentation.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems.
  • Strong presentation skills to convey complex financial information clearly and professionally.
  • High attention to detail and process orientation for ensuring accuracy in data and system setup.
  • Ability to learn new systems and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work US hours, with flexibility once independently working in the role dependent on client preferences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) systems.
