Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or Information Technology / Accounting

3 to 5 years of experience as a developer and/or data engineer, preferably for the banking sector and financial services sector.

Experience in Accounting and Financial Business Processes

Experience in data technologies and systems such as Power BI and SQL. etc.

Experience with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Blob storage, Azure SQL Databases and Power BI are nice to have.

Able to liaise with relevant CTL and IT teams to develop effective solutions.

Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English.

The developer will work directly with the Data and Analytics team, Controller's department.

Specifically, the Developer will:

Elicit requirements from CTL and document the business requirements.

Create new reports and dashboards for CTL using Microsoft Power BI.

Provide technical support by troubleshooting issues from CTL business users regarding the existing CTL dashboards and reports.

Extract data from relevant sources using various ingestion methods

Ensuring compliance with Data Platform Architecture and Software Engineering standards.

Leverage technical components such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Blob storage, Azure SQL Databases and Power BI.

Work with the CTL and ITD team to ensure the timely delivery of project objectives.
