What is your mission?

1. Security Monitoring & Threat Detection

• Continuously monitor SIEM for security alerts and suspicious activities.

• Investigate and respond to alerts.

• Track and mitigate leaked credentials to prevent unauthorized access.

• Monitor idle and inactive user accounts, ensuring proper deactivation to reduce security risks.

• Correlate security logs and alerts across multiple platforms to detect potential threats and attack patterns.

2. Vulnerability Management & Reporting

• Track, document, and report on vulnerabilities to ensure timely remediation.

• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to validate, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities.

• Generate vulnerability management reports and dashboards to provide insights into security risks and patching progress.

3. Security Incident Response & Mitigation

• Participate in security incident response (SIR) activities, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery.

• Work with IT and security teams to analyze, investigate, and mitigate security incidents.

• Document security incidents, including attack timelines, indicators of compromise, and root cause analysis.

• Support post-incident reviews to identify areas for security improvement and prevent recurrence.

4. Identity & Access Management (IAM) Security

• Investigate and monitor idle, inactive, and high-risk user accounts for potential security threats.

• Ensure proper deactivation and remediation of compromised or unauthorized accounts.

• Work with IT and HR teams to enforce access control and identity management best practices.

5. Threat Intelligence & Continuous Security Improvement

• Utilize threat intelligence tools to track and analyze emerging cybersecurity threats.

• Recommend and implement security enhancements based on lessons learned from incidents and threat analysis.

Who are we looking for?

  • 2 years of experience in a SOC, cybersecurity, or IT security role. Strong technical knowledge of networks or systems, with experience in either network administration or system administration.

  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, endpoint protection solutions and vulnerability management tools.

  • Strong understanding of incident response, cloud security (GWS, O365), and threat intelligence.

  • Ability to analyze security logs, detect threats, and respond to incidents efficiently.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and forensic investigation skills.

  • Excellent communication skills for documenting and reporting security events.

  • Industry certifications such as CEH, SOC Analyst, Security , or equivalent are a plus.
