This is a full-time Corporate Audit Manager role at the CITY GARDEN GRAND HOTEL' based in Makati City, Metro Manila. As the Corporate Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading the company's internal audit team to ensure the effectiveness of the organisation's financial and operational controls, risk management, and governance processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
  • Oversee the end-to-end internal audit process, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up on audit findings
  • Identify and evaluate organisational risks, make recommendations to mitigate those risks, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions
  • Partner with department heads and senior management to provide independent and objective assurance on the company's activities
  • Prepare and present audit reports to the Audit Committee, highlighting key issues and recommendations
  • Mentor and develop the internal audit team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA
  • At least 8 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of leading and managing an internal audit function, including developing audit plans, conducting risk assessments, and reporting to senior management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business issues
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey audit findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of data analytics tools and techniques to enhance the audit process
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
