Position Purpose

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Develop test plans to support the delivery of an internally developed enterprise software platform deployed in Europe and Asia Pacific.
  • Collaborate as part of a distributed team across Asia, Pacific, and Europe.
  • Work within the Build teams to ensure successful build and deployment of the platform.

Development Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans to deliver the Commercial Risk Eco System within Europe and Australia.
  • Maintain QA standards and best practices, integrating test plans into the delivery methodology.
  • Understand, communicate, and execute the scope of testing required to meet project or business needs.
  • Provide guidance to QA teams on test strategies and approaches to ensure high-quality outcomes, acting as a point of contact for testing-related queries.
  • Manage the QA team by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress.
  • Collaborate with the test team to create and execute scenarios covering all functionalities and requirements of the application.
  • Assess observations/issues raised by the team and log tickets in Azure DevOps where necessary.
  • Evaluate and implement test automation tools and frameworks, promoting automation to increase efficiency and coverage.

Governance & Delivery

  • Ensure compliance with standard processes and security requirements as directed by team management.
  • Collaborate with the security team on any identified issues.
  • Support operational teams by building skills and providing appropriate tools.

  • Proficiency in French, Dutch, or German is desirable.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Over 6 years of hands-on software testing experience, with strong grounding in methodologies, terminology, scripting, reporting, and metrics.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and guiding teams in QA best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain test plans, test cases, scenarios, execute tests, and document results.
  • Solid defect tracking and management expertise, including conducting program-level defect triage across multiple project/scrum teams and clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and navigate complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Understanding of change management and the role of testing in driving positive business outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple initiatives to meet deadlines.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in large enterprise teams and agile scrum environments.
  • Proven track record of influencing diverse teams and cultures.
  • Prior experience in the insurance sector is highly regarded.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php100, Php145,000.00 per month
