Under the supervision of the Store Supervisor or Store Manager, the Store Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient service to customers. The role involves assisting in product display, maintaining store cleanliness, handling basic cashiering duties, and ensuring excellent customer service aligned with Alfamart's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in finding products and provide friendly, helpful service.
  • Replenish and arrange merchandise on shelves following display standards.
  • Monitor product expiry dates and assist in inventory management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store area, including shelves, counters, and storage rooms.
  • Assist in receiving and checking deliveries of stocks.
  • Operate the cash register and handle customer payments when assigned.
  • Support store promotions and assist in implementing marketing displays.
  • Report low stock levels, damages, or discrepancies to the Store Supervisor.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least Senior High School graduate or College level.
  • With or without related work experience (training will be provided).
  • Preferably with background in retail, convenience store, or supermarket operations.
  • Customer-oriented, polite, and attentive to details.
  • Physically fit and willing to perform manual tasks such as restocking and cleaning.
  • Honest, reliable, and hardworking.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willing to be assigned in any Alfamart branch as needed.
