ROLE: Accounting & Automation Specialist (AI-Focused, Remote)

Part-Time / Fractional (10–20 hrs/week with potential to expand)

Compensation:
$20-25 (premium for AI & automation expertise)

Schedule:
Aligned with U.S. PST as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting and financial reporting tasks.
  • Review existing processes and recommend improvements to add value.
  • Identify repetitive tasks and design
    automation workflows
    .
  • Implement AI tools to streamline data entry, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Automate spreadsheet creation, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Deliver accurate, real-time insights to leadership.
  • Continuously explore new tools/AI methods to optimize accounting efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in
    accounting or financial analysis
    .
  • 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Proven ability to
    review and improve processes
    .
  • Experience with
    automation tools
    (Zapier, Power Automate, RPA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with
    AI tools
    (ChatGPT, AI reporting, workflow automation).
  • Advanced
    Excel/Google Sheets skills
    (macros, formulas, automation).
  • Tech-savvy, innovative, and proactive problem-solver.
  • Ability to work independently and propose solutions that drive impact.
