We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to do financial systems support, configuration, and optimization within our SAP S/4HANA environment. This role involves managing complex financial processes, mentoring junior consultants, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and compliant SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day SAP FICO operations, providing expert-level support across FI modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Banking.
  • Analyze and resolve complex user-reported issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee mini-projects and enhancements, including test scenario creation, documentation, unit testing, and deployment.
  • Manage and maintain master data records (vendors, customers, chart of accounts), ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Perform advanced configuration activities in development and sandbox environments, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Prepare and review functional documentation, training materials, and end-user guides; ensure clarity and alignment with business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design integrated SAP FICO solutions that support strategic initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, HCM), ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
  • Support reconciliation, financial reporting, and controlling tasks; contribute to audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor junior consultants and analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, including S/4HANA environments
  • Strong expertise in FI modules and integration with CO, MM, SD
  • Proven track record in leading SAP implementations and support projects
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
