Plans, prepares and cooks food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience to achieve the authentic Chinese and Singaporean food for customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for Cooking wok food items
  • Help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently.
  • Ensure great presentation before they are served.
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and following food storage procedures.
  • Check quality of ingredients and monitor stocks and place orders when there are shortages.
  • Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours.
  • Helping lead and inspire our kitchen staff by motivating them.

Qualification

  • Proven work experience as a Cook on a Chinese restaurant for at least 2-3 years.
  • Has initiative and quick to take action.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently in fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
  • Very good communication skills.
