Leasing Officer

Job Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or a related field. A real estate license is advantageous.

· Minimum of 1–2 years experienced in commercial leasing, real estate sales, property management and administrative roles.

· Strong negotiation and communication abilities, both verbal and written.

· Good understanding of legal, regulatory, and accounting considerations in commercial leasing.

· Proficiency in market analysis, lease documentation, and financial assessment.

· Customer service-oriented with solid interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

· Familiarity with the local market is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

· Proactively identify potential commercial locations aligned with strategic business goals.

· Analyze foot traffic, visibility, accessibility, and catchment area data for site viability.

· Coordinate property tours and presentations for company leadership or site selection committee.

· Create marketing materials and proposals for targeted outreach.

· Initiate outreach - calls, broker engagements, industry networking, or attending real estate events.

· Negotiate lease terms to secure favorable conditions (e.g., rent, escalation, incentives).

· Prepare and review lease proposals, draft contracts, and support legal review.

· Oversee lease execution and compliance, coordinating closely with legal or external counsel.

· Maintain and update databases of potential and current lease locations.

· Prepare leasing reports and summaries, including market insights and progress updates.

· Track lease expirations, expected occupancy dates, and renewal opportunities.

Identify and recommend improvements to leasing processes.
