As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be the first line of support for our clients, troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions to ensure optimal performance of their IT systems. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, offer technical guidance, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and enhancing the overall service experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for a variety of IT systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document all support interactions and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.
  • Educate clients on best practices for IT system usage and maintenance.
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide informed support.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support or service role within the IT industry.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are preferred.
