Job description
The Project In Charge will oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse construction project, ensuring activities are carried out according to the project plan, budget, and schedule. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this role will be responsible for managing on-site activities, supervising construction teams, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Supervision:
- Oversee daily construction activities to ensure alignment with project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, workers, and site personnel.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Implementation and Compliance:
- Ensure that construction adheres to approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Enforce safety standards and protocols on-site.
- Conduct regular quality checks to verify that work meets required standards.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for contractors and suppliers.
- Relay updates, challenges, and recommendations to the Project Manager.
- Communicate project progress, delays, and issues to Project Manager in a timely manner.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, materials usage, and workforce allocation.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Document incidents, safety violations, and any issues requiring resolution.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Address on-site challenges and propose immediate and effective solutions.
- Adjust plans and schedules as needed in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Resource Management:
- Monitor and ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
- Optimize workforce productivity and resolve resource-related concerns.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage.
- Experience:
- At least 3–5 years of experience in on-site supervision, preferably in warehouse or industrial construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing site operations and teams.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in construction management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to be based on-site full-time and work extended hours as necessary.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to the construction site.
- 40-hour Mandatory Training for the Construction Industry (COSH SO2)

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
