HEAD OFFICE NURSE

JOB SUMMARY

 Under direct supervision of the Administration Officer / Supervisor, is responsible for providing the

necessary nursing activities in the Medical Department and for performing different clerical

administrative duties, memoranda, reports and other documents in the Medical Department.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Nursing Services

Provides nursing services to employees of the Company including:

  1. Taking vital signs, personal history of patients

  2. Providing emergency/first aid treatment

  3. Administering prescribed medicines and following up treatment based on doctor's orders

  4. Assisting minor surgical operations

  5. Sterilizing medical instruments and equipment

  6. Providing health care education and counseling

  7. Assisting in implementing medical and health care programs

Clerical Tasks

  1. In-charge of processing medical profile of employees due for pre-employment and promotion by:

forwarding health questionnaire form, pulling out employee's medical records and

endorsing the same to doctor for evaluation;

  1. Follow up lacking/unsubmitted medical requirements and non-compliance;

  2. Is available to step into flexible assignments whenever help is needed in related medical job

functions, as directed by immediate superiors.

  1. Maintains orderliness cleanliness and safety of all medical equipment, tools, medical instruments and

the general housekeeping of the Medical Department;

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: College, Valid Professional License

Knowledge/Skils: Skill in operating medical paraphernalia and equipment is necessary. A sense

of accuracy is important. General office experience, including computer skills and minor

computation in a customer service environment is required. Good computer skills, and

communication skills to patient-employees.

Pay: From Php757.30 per day
