Job Description:

  • Delivers achievement of 100% sales target of the assigned category.
  • Buys the right merchandise at the right price, quantity and terms.
  • Sources and develops new local and international suppliers (outright and concessionaire) to ensure category merchandise assortment is updated with local and international trends.
  • Ensures that the top fast movers and best sellers (outright and concessionaire) are present in all stores.
  • Coordinates with Store Operations on product display, promotions and special deals execution to ensure that all merchandising plans are properly implemented in store.
  • Monitors and analyzes merchandise and provides sound recommendations for the said items.
  • Performs item forecasting with vendors.
  • Performs regular purging schedule and follows 1 in, 1 out in all new buys.
  • Reviews and assesses vendor (outright and concessionaire) sales and support in stores; takes appropriate remedial action where necessary.
  • Builds good business relationship and rapport with vendors ensuring that the vendors are updated of the BU's developments enabling them to meet on-going demands.
  • Conducts regular store visits and competitive shopping and ensures that learning points and corrective measures are prepared to improve performance of the category.
  • Prepares new buys and vendors, price adjustments including rollback, promo sheets and promo evaluation, business/category reviews, RSSR and stock verification reports and concessionaire contracts.

Job Qualification:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or any related course
  • Preferably with minimum of 5 years work experience as Supply Chain Manager, Supply and Demand Manager and with experience in purchasing, inventory management and planning deliveries
  • Experience in handling purchasing team with 3 to 5 members
  • Must be knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office Applications
  • With knowledge in Netsuite system is an advantage.
  • Willing to work on-site
  • Willing to be deployed in Quezon City
