Duties and Responsibilities:

SAFETY OFFICER II:

Compliance to activities indicated at DAO Revised Guidelines for Pollution Control Officer) released by DENR

Comply to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency requirements

Comply with ISO procedures and conduct Workplace Environment Audit

Preparation of requirements related to Environmental and Safety Compliance

Develop occupation health and safety systems, including policies, procedures, and manuals in compliance to Department of Labor & Employment Requirements

Coordinate to all department about health and safety programs and activities to develop a safer and healthier ways of working

Act as liaison officer related to safety and environmental, keep track with the industry rules and regulations related to Safety and Security concerns

Facilitate meetings/training to all employees about related Safety and Security concerns in order to meet its objectives and programs

Inspect workplace area and its equipment to ensure the comply with the safety regulations and to identify hazards and its risk

10.   Coordinate emergency procedures, rescues, firefighting and first aid crew

SITE WORKS:

  1. Issue work permits and inspect the safety and security of the work area before mobilization

  2. Assist the Project Manager/Engineer in conducting toolbox meeting and safety orientation.

  3. Ensure workers follow proper PPE and safety standards before and during work activity.

  4. Provide safety instructions and first aid in times of accidents and unforeseen emergencies

  5. Report issues and concerns, observed unofficial activity to the immediate superior
