As a Quality Assurance/Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing the programs, student records, and overall operations of the company's Australian training clients to ensure they meet the requirements of the relevant regulatory bodies in Australia.

You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of client satisfaction while adhering to Australian compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of Australian training providers' processes, student records, assessments, and training materials to ensure compliance with ASQA standards and other relevant regulations.
• Interact and provide training to clients regarding meeting vocational education and training compliance issues and standards
• Liaise with clients and regulators regarding compliance and regulatory-related matters.
• Review and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of training programs and delivery methods.
• Assess the Australian training providers' adherence to compliance requirements.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve internal processes, ensure compliance, and maintain best practices.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, outlining non-compliances, risks, and corrective actions.
• Work closely with the compliance and management teams to implement corrective actions and track improvements.
• Stay up to date with changes to industry regulations, regulator updates, and compliance best practices to ensure ongoing adherence.
• Assist in preparation for regulatory audits and act as the main point of contact during external audits.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in complex QA work in relevant fields (e.g. finance, education)
• Proven experience in delivering services within a highly regulated industry
• Background in compliance or any related complex QA field
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional people skills and ability to connect with others
• Track record of leading multiple projects with various contingencies
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and systems creation
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable:

• Proven experience in a compliance/QA/auditor role within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) or any relevant field.
• In-depth knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations, the VET Quality Framework, and regulatory requirements.
