We are looking for: Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

Location: Makati (Hybrid/On-site)

Experience Level: 3+ years

Role Overview

The QA Specialist ensures that all digital marketing products, platforms, and deliverables meet quality standards before reaching clients. This role involves testing systems, reviewing campaign outputs, and maintaining documentation to guarantee consistency and technical excellence across marketing technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical and Operational Quality

  • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform functionality, regression, and user acceptance testing on new and existing features.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools.
  • Collaborate with developers to verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.
  • Ensure quality standards are met before product release.
  • Provide detailed QA reports and documentation for every deployment.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance user experience and application reliability.
  • (For hybrid QA) Automate repetitive test cases using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Postman.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work closely with development, design, and marketing teams to align QA processes with project timelines.
  • Document findings and communicate detailed feedback to improve performance and user experience.
  • Develop QA standards, testing plans, and process improvement recommendations.

Compliance and Optimization

  • Ensure all deliverables meet internal and client-specific quality benchmarks.
  • Support deployment readiness reviews and release documentation.
  • Track recurring issues and propose preventive solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
  • Experience testing web-based applications (knowledge of Laravel framework is a plus).
  • Familiarity with test and defect management tools.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API testing (Postman) or automation testing.
  • Experience with SQL for data validation.
  • Knowledge of basic scripting or automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • ISTQB or other QA certifications.

Success in the Role

To excel in this position, the QA Specialist must combine a strong technical mindset with a keen eye for detail. Success means proactively ensuring every project launch runs flawlessly, balancing both speed and accuracy. A background in marketing technology, data validation, or campaign testing will be a strong advantage.

Pay: Php45, Php60,000.00 per month
