Get to Know the Team

The Marketplace team manages the balance between supply and demand for GrabCar and GrabTaxi. We use insights from both driver-partners and passengers to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.

On the supply side, we handle driver operations—allocating, incentivizing, and optimizing the fleet. On the demand side, we support growth through product features and promotions.

Get to Know the Role

You'll work with Driver Operations, Marketing, and other teams to support Transport growth.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Data analysis: Identify issues and opportunities through data insights, and assessing the impact of projects.
  • Project management: Lead projects that address challenges and growth areas.
  • Partner coordination: Communicate across teams and levels to align priorities and manage trade-offs.

You'll report to the Head of Demand Planning and Market Strategy, based in Exquadra Tower, Ortigas.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Run supply and demand experiments to shape our customers' behavior for the balance in the marketplace
  • Go on the ground to understand how our customers (rider partners and passengers) experience Grab's services and address their pain points
  • Work with the product teams to launch and localize new product features
  • Data analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) / financial modeling on the performance of different programs or proposals
  • Performance tracking: identify important issues and coming up with strategies to address them

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, data analytics, business strategy, or operations
  • 3+ years of experience building business cases, financial forecasting, budgeting, and pricing models

Nice to Have:

  • Startup experience
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, or R (or willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge)
