Job Description – Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

  • Performs end-to-end manual and automated testing for complex business processes, ensuring accuracy, performance, and stability across integrated systems.
  • Designs, builds, and maintains robust Tosca automation suites covering functional, regression, and integration test scenarios.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive test strategies and automation roadmaps aligned with sprint goals and release cycles.
  • Collaborates closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and identify automation opportunities early in the development process.
  • Owns the automation strategy within sprints, ensuring quality gates and test coverage are achieved before deployment.
  • Implements continuous testing practices integrated with CI/CD pipelines for faster feedback and improved delivery efficiency.
  • Conducts code and test script reviews, enforcing automation standards, maintainability, and best practices in Tosca.
  • Develops and maintains test data management solutions to support repeatable and efficient test executions.
  • Analyzes test results, identifies root causes of defects, and partners with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Tracks and reports quality metrics (test coverage, defect density, automation ROI) to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensures test documentation, traceability, and reporting align with QA standards and compliance requirements.
  • Stays current with emerging QA tools, automation trends, and best practices, continuously improving test efficiency and coverage.
