Accounting Assistant to provide essential support to our accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of clerical and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions (invoices, payments, reconciliations).
  • BIR (Tax)
  • Perform daily bookkeeping and data entry tasks using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
  • Assist with bank and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process journal entries.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as needed.
  • Support the payroll process by gathering and verifying necessary data.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required for highly motivated entry-level candidates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
