JOB DESCRIPTION

The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and proper handling of the sealing machine and sealing the products to prevent contamination and causing serious injury to the customer.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets up all machine operation setting such as the speed, size before running the machines.
  • Tests the machines before beginning the work procedure to ensure it's in good running condition.
  • Loads packed products into the sealing machine to secure the product against contamination.
  • Controls and adjusts the settings and functions of the machine such as the operating speed as necessary.
  • Matches products to the summarized packing list to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to their transfer to the metal detector area.
  • Monitors activities and records results as they happen with accuracy and in the appropriate monitoring forms to establish the number of calibration done to the machine, down time and other pertinent quality and food safety data.
  • Cleans the surface of the machine after every shift and as needed to prevent dirt build up and contamination.
  • Cleans and practices Clean as You Go (CLAYGO) in his/her work station to promote a safe and clean work environment.
  • Reports to superiors all equipment, materials and product non-conformities to allow for proper and immediate resolution.
  • Reports food safety incidences to superiors to intervene against actual or suspected threats and protect consumers' interest and business integrity.
  • Performs job related duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS GUIDE

  • Must be a High School/Trade or Vocational School Graduate.
  • Skills & Experience: Preferably with 1-2 years' experience as a machine operator. An equivalent combination of training and experience indicating possession of the preceding knowledge and abilities may substitute for the education and experience requisite.
  • Willing to work near Merville, Paranaque City.
  • Can start ASAP.
