Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified Safety Officer IV (SO4) to lead and manage occupational safety and health programs across our projects. The Safety Officer IV will act as the company's senior safety authority, ensuring compliance with DOLE regulations and promoting a culture of safety in all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee company-wide occupational health and safety policies.
  • Lead safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Supervise and mentor Safety Officers (SO2 and SO3) assigned to projects.
  • Coordinate with DOLE and other government agencies regarding compliance and reporting.
  • Conduct high-level risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
  • Serve as the OSHC/DOLE liaison for safety-related compliance.
  • Provide advanced safety training and seminars for employees.
  • Prepare and submit safety management reports to top management.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of any 4-year course, preferably in Engineering or related field.
  • Must have completed 320 hours of Advanced Occupational Safety and Health Training.
  • At least 4 years of experience in safety management, with proven leadership in construction or industrial projects.
  • Accredited as a Safety Officer IV under DOLE-DO
  • Strong expertise in occupational health and safety laws, ISO 45001, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with management, staff, and regulatory bodies.
