o Supports the HRDA Manager in formulating short and long-range plans, strategies, policies, measures and initiatives for OSH (Health and Wellness) related functions.
o Assists the HRDA Manager in the preparation of budget plan for healthcare and wellness related programs under his/her jurisdiction.
o Coordinates with HRDA and Health Sub-Committee of the SHE Committee in the planning, monitoring, execution and evaluation of health and wellness initiatives.
o Suggests healthcare and wellness related practices such as proper diet, good hygiene, sanitation and healthy lifestyle.
o Oversees the Healthcare and wellness awareness campaign by facilitating healthcare and wellness education, orientation, awareness seminars or discussion groups on relevant and prevalent health issues concerning employees.
o Supports the conduct of regular SSHE Toolbox meeting.
o Acts as company representative in establishing close coordination with Regulatory and Statutory Authorities about health related concerns on a regular basis.
o Stores, monitors and controls medical supplies, and equipment of the Company.
o Administers medications (as prescribed by Physician) and monitors for patient employee's reactions or side effects.
o Monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in the patient employee's conditions.
o Provides, diagnoses, attends and monitors first aid treatments on injuries, accidents and other health-related illnesses including relevant reports for future reference and availment of benefits.
o Conducts regular health examination and check-up of employees with physical and medical concerns.
o Handles the conduct of random mandatory drug-testing in the Company.
o Verifies and evaluates Pre-employment and Annual physical and medical examination results as well as explains the results to the subject employee.
o Records patient employee's medical information and vital signs.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of BS Nursing with Professional Licensure
- Minimum of three (3) years of extensive work experience as Company Nurse in a Manufacturing firm
