Monday to Thursday Duties Provide first aid and basic medical treatment for work-related injuries or illnesses. Conduct health assessments and initial evaluations for employees and crew. Monitor ongoing medical concerns and prepare detailed reports for the company doctor’s review on Friday. Ensure complete documentation of each medical case, including symptoms, treatment given, and follow-up required. Coordinate schedules and appointments in preparation for Friday consultations. Communicate with departments to gather additional details (i.e., exposure, job hazards) when needed. Friday – Doctor Coordination Assist the company physician during on-site consultations. Present and discuss medical logs, follow-up cases, and referrals. Carry out post-consultation instructions such as medical clearances, referrals, or re-evaluation tracking. Support in Papua New Guinea (PNG) Conduct basic medical check-ups for crew and staff when part of HR or Audit Team visits. Monitor crew health and report any urgent medical concerns to HR/Management. Drug Testing Oversight Conduct Random Drug Testing in the office weekly, following approved schedules and confidentiality protocols. Coordinate results documentation and confidentiality with HR. Assist in test kit handling, result verification, and supplier coordination as needed External Medical Support (Check-ups / Hospitalization) Accompany or coordinate assistance for employees and crew needing: Diagnostic tests Specialist consultations Emergency medical care or hospital admission Prepare required documents such as referral forms, health reports, or HMO/hospital coordination letters. Liaise with hospitals, clinics, and HMO providers to support smooth admission or outpatient care. Health Monitoring and Documentation Maintain updated and confidential health records per DOLE and company standards. Submit periodic reports on clinic activities, illness trends, and medical emergencies. Monitor and replenish clinic medical supplies, ensuring inventory is up to date. Health and Safety Program Support Assist in implementing occupational health initiatives. Conduct health orientations for new employees and seafarers. Participate in workplace inspections and safety meetings. Registered Nurse (PRC-licensed) Preferably with BOSH for Nurses or OHNAP Certification 1–2 years experience in clinical or occupational setting Familiar with medical referral processes, hospital protocols, and employee health support Excellent in communication, documentation, and coordination #J-18808-Ljbffr
