The Role: Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and supporting management with accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax schedules, returns, payments, and reports while maintaining the tax database.
  • Identify tax solutions, legal savings, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and stay updated on changes in laws.
  • Advise management on tax liabilities and implement tax strategies.
  • Accurately prepare and file tax reports and returns (income, sales, etc.).
  • Assist with tax audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Reconcile tax accounts and collaborate with accounting for accurate financial reporting.
  • Research tax issues and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Comply with company safety, security, and compliance protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or a related program.
  • CPA license preferred but not mandatory.
  • 1–2 years of experience in taxation.
  • Experience in a Big Four tax firm or similar in-house corporate tax role is an advantage.
