Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting: Review and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, operational leadership reports, and presentations. Analyze financial performance and provide insights on budgets and forecasts.
  • General Accounting: Manage financial ledgers, conduct balance sheet reconciliations, and support transaction enquiries. Ensure accuracy in cost recording and compliance with accounting policies.
  • Cost Management: Accurately record labor costs and oversee overhead cost management.
  • Project & Tender Financials: Apply cost management practices in tender teaming and project deeds. Optimize cashflow management and support project control teams.
  • Taxation: Provide escalation support for fringe benefits tax, fuel tax credit, business activity statements, and tax returns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce or any related field.
  • CPA or CIMA certification.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a commercial/accounting role, particularly within construction, engineering, or property industries.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and reporting systems.
  • Proactive approach to advising and supporting business units and projects.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within diverse teams.
