About the role

FILOIL GAS and ENERGY COMPANY, INC.' is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Industrial Engineering Intern to join our team in Mandaluyong City Metro Manila. As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and contributing to the continuous improvement of our production processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the analysis and optimisation of manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collect and analyse data to identify areas for improvement in operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and solve complex problems
  • Participate in the development and documentation of industrial engineering best practices
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of workplace layouts and material handling systems
  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
  • Assist in the development of production schedules and work plans

What we're looking for

  • Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering or related degree program
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
  • Familiarity with industrial engineering principles, tools, and software (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, AutoCAD)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a keen interest in continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
