About the role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller to join our team at the West Point Communication Center in Mactan Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the billing and reimbursement processes for our growing Cardiology Clinic, ensuring accurate and timely claims submission to insurance providers.
What you'll be doing
- Accurately coding and submitting medical claims to insurance companies in a timely manner
- Monitoring the status of claims and following up on denials or underpayments
- Liaising with patients and insurance providers to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all billing activities
- Assisting with the implementation of new billing processes and procedures
- Providing support and training to the medical team on proper documentation and coding
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller, preferably in a Cardiology Clinic or similar healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical coding, billing, and reimbursement processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with patients and insurance providers
- Proficiency in using medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and timely claims processing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
