We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Product Designer & Developer who can handle the full process of bringing bags and shoes to life. From concept sketches to production-ready samples, this role combines design creativity with product development expertise to ensure every piece reflects our brand vision and meets quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design Creation. Sketch and design bags and shoes that align with brand identity, target market, and seasonal direction.
  • Product Development. Translate designs into samples by working with manufacturers.
  • Material Sourcing. Select fabrics, leathers, hardware, and finishes that meet both design and cost requirements.
  • Sampling & Prototyping. Oversee prototypes, review samples, and give feedback for adjustments until final approval.
  • Trend Research. Track fashion trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences to guide new designs.
  • Technical Specs. Create design sheets, technical drawings, and detailed production notes for suppliers.
  • Quality Control. Check samples for construction, comfort, durability, and finishing before production.
  • Collaboration. Work with the marketing team to align product designs with campaigns, pricing, and market needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in product design and development (bags, shoes, or fashion accessories preferred).
  • Strong sketching and design presentation skills (digital or hand-drawn).
  • Knowledge of materials, construction, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage both creative design and technical development.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for supplier coordination and internal collaboration.
  • Passion for fashion with an eye for trends and consumer preferences.
  • Familiarity with design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) is a plus.

Work Setup

  • Flexible Hybrid. Mostly remote collaboration, with supplier communication and design work done online.
  • In-Person. Occasional meetings, fittings, or sample reviews as needed within Metro Manila.
  • Freelance Arrangement. Project-based workload with flexibility, depending on brand needs and launch timelines.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
