Core responsibilities include customer interaction, food handling, POS system operation, and restaurant sanitation, while softer skills like strong communication, teamwork, and a positive attitude are also essential. Core Responsibilities
  • Customer Service:Greet customers, present menus, answer questions about menu items, and provide a positive dining or shopping experience.

  • Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication is crucial for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Dependability: Reliability and punctuality are important for shift work.
  • Basic Education: Often requires a minimum of a secondary school certificate, though higher education or certifications (like in food hygiene) are a plus.
  • Order Taking:Accurately take customer orders, whether at a counter, drive-thru, or through a POS system.
  • Food & Beverage Preparation:Prepare food and drinks according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Serving:Serve food and beverages to customers promptly and courteously.
  • Payment Processing:Handle cash transactions, process payments using POS systems, and accurately provide change.
  • Cleanliness & Hygiene:Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in both customer and kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, floors, and equipment.
  • Stock Management:Monitor and restock supplies, ingredients, and other inventory items to prevent shortages.
